Q:	What is a homeschooling co-op?
A:	Homeschooling co-ops can look different from each other, but the basic concept is usually the same. All families volunteer to make it work. Usually a co-op consists of a leadership team, committees, and parents as teachers and helpers for classes or nursery.

Q:	Where do you meet?
A:	Stow, OH.

Q:	What days and times do you meet?
A:	Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

When are your semesters?

Semesters are 13 weeks - orientation and 12 weeks of classes.

Fall semester is the end of August until mid November.

Spring semester is the end of February through the end of May.

Q:	How is the day structured?
A:	Announcements, first and second periods, lunch/recess, third period, then dismissal.

Q:	What if the co-op is full?
A:	If we are full, anyone who signs up goes on a Potential Member List. They will also be placed in our Potential Member BAND so that we can easily communicate with everyone on the Potential Member List in one place.

Q:	What ages of students are in the co-op?
A:	We have infants all the way up to age 18.

Q:	How large is the co-op?
A:	On any given semester, we typically have between 30 and 40 families with a maxium of 170 total people (including infants).

Q:	Do I have to agree with the Statement of Faith to join?
A:	Yes. It is required that you read it thoroughly, understand it, and fully agree with it in order to be a member of this co-op.

Q:	Will I have to teach a class?
A:	Yes. Each member must teach at least one class each semester and must be willing to serve as a helper, floater, or nursery helper during the other class periods.

Q:	Do I have to attend co-op with my children?
A:	Yes, parents must attend co-op with their children.

Q:	What kind of classes do you offer?
A:	What we offer is based on what parents are willing to teach. Throughout the years we have offered woodworking, drama, sewing, dance, soccer, science experiments, cooking, baking. These are not guaranteed each semester, but are offered when adults are willing to teach them.

Do you hold any other activities besides the weekly co-op classes?

Yes. As long as we have parents willing to coordinate field trips and special events, we will continue to have them.

Right now, we have monthly field trips, mom events, teen events, tween events, and elementary events. We also have an open house at the end of each semester, Kick-off Party, Christmas party, Valentine party, Field Day, and a Graduation Ceremony if we have graduating seniors in the spring.
