About Us
Our History
H.O.P.E. (Homeschool Outreach for Purposeful Enrichment) Christian Collaboration was formed as a homeschooling co-op where families could gather and serve one another in fellowship and enrichment style co-op classes. The group was the brainchild of Jessica Thompson, a homeschooling mother who saw a need for a Christ-centered homeschool cooperative in the Stow-Falls area. From there, others joined her in this quest, and the co-op just finished its second full school year! We are so excited to see what the co-op continues to become, and pray that our endeavors glorify Christ and give Christian homeschool families the support and encouragement they need.
Our Purpose and Vision
The purpose of H.O.P.E. Christian Collaboration is to provide support, resources, and fellowship for Christian families engaged in homeschooling and living in the Northeast Ohio area, while promoting academic enrichment through various co-operative classes, character development opportunities, and an environment that fosters spiritual growth in accordance with Christian values. We envision a fun and safe environment for like-minded families to grow together and support each other in the homeschool community.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support and enrich the homeschooling journey by creating a vibrant, Christ-centered community where families can grow both educationally and spiritually. To do this, offer weekly enrichment classes led by parents who volunteer their time and talents, providing hands-on learning opportunities across a variety of subjects.
More than just academics, H.O.P.E. fosters meaningful relationships, encouragement, and mutual support among like-minded families. We strive to be a safe, joyful, and welcoming environment where children can thrive, friendships can flourish, and parents can find community and purpose in the homeschooling journey.
What We Strive to Provide
H.O.P.E. Christian Collaboration provides enrichment and community support, but it is not the primary academic experience for our learners. All of our families homeschool independently and use a variety of curricula and methods at home that best fit their children’s needs. H.O.P.E. supplements this home education by offering once-a-week enrichment classes, hands-on learning experiences, and a Christ-centered community that fosters spiritual and social growth. We exist to come alongside families, not replace their core academic instruction.
